March Azaleas in bloom

March is a spring month here in Ocala. Actually it begins to warm up the last week of February. The average temperatures in March are in the mid to high 70’s. It is also the dry season with little rain and no humidity.

The winter of 2013-14 was odd. It was the 18th wettest year in the past 121 years. Since I got here in 2004 winters have been very dry sometimes going for weeks without rain. This year I had to drain my pool to keep it from over flowing 2 or 3 times. In the SW where I live we also didn’t get a hard frost. In my 10 years of living here we have always had a good frost and even a freeze or two.

If it’s not spring yet where you live then move to ocala. Call me, email me or use my Ocala Dream Home Finder. The selection of homes is still great but prices are just starting to go up.
