Sales in January were down quite a bit from December. I don’t know why other than those are contracts written over the holidays. I still think the market is changing. I am having a great year so far with 4 sales already and 3 more pending. I’m also seeing some new construction. Builders are finally not only building but some have the confidence to build spec homes. I just closed on a brand new home by Triple Crown who I consider one of the areas top builders. I thought considering the upgrades it was a great home for the price. I’m also seeing new commercial projects sprouting up all over the place. The commercial builders are pretty sophisticated. They do all sorts of research before they commit their money into a project. The dark days of the real estate crash are finally over and I’m a happy camper !
