Home sales are up again in the Ocala Marion County area. This month we sold 554 homes and farms as opposed to 439 in June 2013. That is an over 25% increase. I don’t think much of an areas median home prices. I think they only show what is selling and not what you get for your money. I do like the fact that homes in higher price ranges are moving. I think buyers are recognizing that you get a lot here in Ocala in the $200K to $500K range. We are no longer in a buyers market. We have entered a neutral market where homes in pristine condition are getting close to full price offers and selling quickly. I think there are still good deals out there especially compared to other parts of the country and south Florida but I see list prices beginning to go up.
