August was another rainy month here in Ocala. People who grew up here will tell you that this is more a return to normal and that the past several years have been very dry.

September is a full blown summer month with temperatures still in the 90’s and plenty of humidity. It will not cool off until later in October. Once again we are not seeing much for hurricanes. That’s because dry air from Africa keeps hurricanes from getting going in the Atlantic and high level winds are tearing the ones that do get started apart. Let’s hope that continues.
