It’s been a crazy weather year so far here in Ocala. As I write my monthly weather blog here on November 3rd we are having record heat. Temperatures are expected to approach 90 today. All of October was the same with temps in the high 80’s all month long. Fortunately some but not all the humidity has gone. Normal for October is the low to mid 80’s and November we should be in the mid to high 70’s.

I suppose I shouldn’t complain. I talk to people from all over the country and they love to tell me how cold it is where they live. Like I always say the long hot humid summers are a small price to pay for no winter. Winter in Ocala is like early October in most northern states.
