Ocala Real Estate Market Report for October 2013

October sales were very similar to September. The Ocala real estate market is making a big come back. Home sales were up 25% from October 2012. The median home price is up 11% for the same period. Pending sales, those homes under contract, are up 31% over this time last year. Homes are selling faster. The average days on the market is 105 down from 142. There is now approximately 6 months of inventory. That is considered neutral. We are no longer in a buyers market but it isn’t a sellers market yet either.
