Ocala Florida Weather Report for May 2014

May is a transition month between the dry season and the beginning of our wet and humid season. The early part of May is dry in the low 80’s and heats up to close to 90 by the end of the month and the humidity gradually follows the temperature rise. The heat and humidity will continue from late May until the end of October when the dry season starts. This year our dry season has been much wetter that normal. That is a good thing since this area has seen several years with below average precipitation.
