Another excellent month for home sales here in Marion County. Although we don’t have a true off-season like winter is in northern states, summer is our slower time. To have almost 400 sales in June is great.

The Ocala Marion County MLS changed search categories in June. Farms have been merged with residential. To some extent it effected sales but not by much more than 10 units. Inventory which went from 3371 to 3819 was effected and that explains the big jump from last month.

Everyone I talk to seems to think the worst is behind us. If you’re thinking of buying now is the time.
